Matt Beaty drives in a run and steals a base

by Jon Mathisen | Thu, Jul 8th 4:20pm EDT

Outfielder Matt Beaty went 2-for-4 with an RBI, two runs scored, a walk, and a stolen base as the Dodgers defeated the Marlins 6-1 on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Beaty had a solid day at the dish, reaching three times, driving in a run, scoring twice, and swiping his first bag of the year. He knocked an RBI single off of Sandy Alcantara in the fifth inning and would come around to score in that same inning. The 28-year-old has been a solid contributor for the Dodgers in his limited at-bats. He's got a .255/.346/.380 batting line to go along with four home runs, 29 RBI, and one stolen base in 71 games.
