Max Fried pitched five innings against the Marlins Saturday, allowing nine hits, three runs (all earned), and one walk while striking out five batters. The bullpen was able to hold the lead, Braves won 5-4, Fried's record stands at 6-5. He threw 92 pitches, 55 for strikes. He carries a 4.71 ERA.
Fantasy Impact:
Fried is having difficulty locating his pitches because he holds the ball too long before releasing it. He'll make the adjustment and should be fine for the second half.
