Matt Barnes, Red Sox agree to two-year extension

Fantasy Impact:
The deal includes an $8 million club option for 2024. The right-hander is having the best season of his career thus far, so Boston has made the move to extend him before he hit free agency this winter. Fantasy managers can expect Barnes to continue operating as a top-10 fantasy closer from here on out.
