RHP Tony Gonsolin didn't factor into the decision on Sunday when he allowed one run on four hits with one walk and six strikeouts across four innings as the Dodgers beat the D-Backs 7-4.
The only run Gonsolin coughed up came in the fourth inning when Stephen Vogt took him deep for a solo shot. His six strikeouts were the second-most he's registered in a start this season. The 27-year-old righty will take a solid 2.13 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and 31:15 K/BB ratio over 25 1/3 innings (seven appearances, six starts). He should be a useful mixed-league option in the second half.
