Fantasy Impact:
Flaherty was transferred to the 60-day injured list in early July with a strained left oblique. He threw a bullpen session on Friday and will continue to ramp up his intensity in throwing sessions. This is an encouraging sign for Flaherty as he continues to work his way back from a strained oblique. Barring a setback, the Cardinals ace is expected back in August. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Flaherty for the second-half run.
