David Price goes four innings on Sunday

by Jon Mathisen | Mon, Jul 19th 12:03am EDT

LHP David Price took a no-decision on Sunday when he allowed one run on two hits with one walk and four strikeouts over four innings as the Dodgers lost to the Rockies 6-5 in extra-innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Price was making his fifth start of the season and pitched well in the dangerous confines of Coors Fied. He only allowed one run via a Charlie Blackmon single in the bottom of the first inning but was solid otherwise. He didn't pitch deep enough to factor into the decision. The veteran southpaw now owns a 3.12 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, and 35:10 K/BB ratio over 34 2/3 innings (25 appearances, five starts). He should get another start against these same Rockies at home in his next start.
