by Andersen Pickard | Wed, Jul 21st 8:37am EDT

Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the eighth inning against the Mariners on Tuesday. He also struck out once in the process. It wasn't enough, though, as Colorado ultimately fell to Seattle by a score of 6-4.

Fantasy Impact:

Cron is slashing .248/.357/.476 with 14 homers, 41 RBI, 34 walks, and 64 strikeouts through 78 games this season. However, he has hit a rough patch as of late, posting a mere .213 batting average over the last 15 contests.
