Minnesota Twins' top prospect Alex Kirilloff (wrist) will undergo wrist surgery and be placed on the 10-day injured list. (Dan Hayes on Twitter )

Kirilloff was placed on the injured list Wednesday with a right wrist ligament tear. He will undergo surgery on his ailing wrist and most likely miss the rest of the season. The Twins' top prospect is slashing .251/.299/.423 with eight home runs, 34 RBI, and 23 runs scored across 231 plate appearances in 2021.
