Adam Wainwright pitched seven innings of one-run ball on Wednesday night, allowing just six hits and striking out five in a no-decision.
Fantasy Impact:
An RBI triple by Rafael Ortega was the only damage against Wainwright, who lowers his season ERA to 3.56 on the year to go with an impressive 1.13 WHIP. The 39-year-old veteran pitched extremely well in the shortened 2020 season and has carried that over into 2021 as well. He's certainly pitching well enough to be rostered in all fantasy leagues heading into an interleague matchup in Cleveland next week.
