Charlie Morton collects ninth win Thursday

Charlie Morton pitched six innings against the Phillies Thursday, allowing four hits, two runs (both earned), and four walks while striking out eight batters. The Braves offense and the bullpen sealed the 7-2 victory, Morton's record for the year improved to 9-3 and he also earned a quality start. He threw 102 pitches, 60 for strikes. He carries a 3.65 ERA.
Fantasy Impact:
Morton is certainly providing the Braves a solid return for their signing dollars this year. He demonstrates a keen eye for strategy even on days he doesn't have his best stuff.
