Fantasy Impact:
Kirk was activated from the 60-day injured list Tuesday and optioned to the minors. He recalled on Friday after Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen was placed on the 10-day injured list with a hamstring strain. Kirk will most likely split catching duties with Reese McGuire but has a chance to secure a starting role. Fantasy managers in two-catcher formats can look to add Kirk after he hit .225 with three homers and eight RBI over 17 games in 2021.
