The Nationals will back off Strasburg’s throwing program, per manage David Martinez. Washington will weigh out their options on whether the Nationals ace sees another specialist. Strasburg suffered a minor setback in July, and the Nationals are being cautious with their pitcher by shutting him down again. The 2019 World Series MVP has no timetable for a return and remains day-to-day.
