Trevor Story drawing interest from the Yankees

Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story is drawing interest from the New York Yankees, among other teams, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com. (Mark Feinsand on Twitter)

Feinsand noted that the Yankees have "checked in with the Rockies on Story," according to his source. The impending free agent is sure to draw a ton of interest as the MLB trade deadline is just around the corner. Feinsand also said that if the Yankees did indeed acquire Story then it would make sense for Gleyber Torres to shift over to second base and have DJ LeMahieu cover first base so that Story could remain at his natural shortstop position.
