Patrick Corbin struggled and allowed five runs (four earned) against the Orioles. Corbin finished with five hits, one walk, and four strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings pitched.
Fantasy Impact:
This was Corbin's second start in a row where he allowed four earned runs or more. July hasn't been a good month for Corbin with a 7.17 ERA and 1.78 WHIP in 21 1/3 innings. The slider performed well with a 40% whiff rate yet no other pitch recorded a single whiff. However, his velocity was up, which we like to see. Hopefully, Corbin gets back on track soon.
