Carlos Carrasco strikes out six in rehab start

by Andersen Pickard | Guardians Correspondent | Sun, Jul 25th 3:21pm EDT

Mets pitcher Carlos Carrasco had a rehab start at Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday. He tossed three innings, allowing just two hits, zero runs, and zero walks while striking out six batters. (Michael Mayer on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Carrasco was traded to the Mets from the Indians this past offseason but hasn't pitched in 2021 due to a hamstring injury. However, after making two rehab starts, it appears he might return to an MLB mound soon. The right-hander amassed a 2.91 ERA, 9.1 K/9, and 3.0 BB/9 over 68 innings of work in Cleveland last year.
