Cleveland right-hander Emmanuel Clase threw a clean ninth inning to preserve a 3-2 win over the Rays on Sunday. He struck out one in the outing.
Fantasy Impact:
Clase was credited with his 12th save in 16 chances. He now has a 3-5 record, 1.98 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 44 strikeouts over 41 innings of work. Clase and James Karinchak should continue to split save chances throughout the second half.
