Cleveland right-hander Cal Quantrill allowed one run over six innings in a 4-2 loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday. Quantrill struck out five and walked one in the outing.
Fantasy Impact:
Quantrill's only mistake was a solo homer to Harrison Bader in the third inning. The young hurler is trending up as he's allowed three runs or less in all five of his starts in July. Overall, Quantrill has a 2-2 record, 3.66 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 55 strikeouts over 78 2/3 innings of work.
