Detroit Tigers left-hander Tyler Alexander allowed five runs over four innings in a 6-5 win over the Twins on Tuesday. Alexander struck out two and walked one in the start.
Fantasy Impact:
Alexander gave up two homers, including a grand slam to Mitch Garver in the first inning. He calmed down after that and wound up escaping with a no-decision. He has a 1-1 record, 4.80 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 43 strikeouts over 50 2/3 innings of work. Alexander will face the Orioles next.
