Vladimir Gutierrez (5-3) picked up the win Tuesday against the Cubs, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks in 6.1 innings. He struck out five.
Fantasy Impact:
Gutierrez settled in well after allowing a two-run homer to Anthony Rizzo in the first inning. The five strikeouts were two shy of a season-high. He doesn't have much strikeout upside (42 strikeouts in 60.2 innings), but he provides length so he could be sticking around for the Reds. He'll take on the Mets next.
