Rangers closer Ian Kennedy had another clutch outing on Tuesday as he struck out two Diamondbacks batters over one inning of work. He earned the save as Texas ultimately defeated Arizona by a score of 5-4.

Kennedy now owns a 2.51 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and .227 OBA over 32 outings this season. He's logged 16 saves (17 opportunities) and proven to be a key member of the Texas bullpen. Given his age and contract status, Kennedy is expected to garner significant trade interest ahead of Friday's trade deadline.
