by Andersen Pickard | Athletics Correspondent | Wed, Jul 28th 10:39am EDT

Astros utility player Aledmys Diaz returned to the lineup on Tuesday after missing seven weeks of action due to a left hand injury. Upon his return, the 30-year-old went 2-for-5 with a single, double, run, and RBI. Texas ultimately defeated Arizona by a score of 5-4.

Fantasy Impact:

Diaz was tasked with playing third base after the Astros traded Abraham Toro to the Mariners just a few hours before gametime. He's now slashing .283/.344/.442 with 19 RBI, five walks, and 19 strikeouts over the course of 35 contests this season. He should be in the lineup every day until Alex Bregman is activated.
