Rockies starter Austin Gomber allowed just two runs, five hits, and two walks over six innings of work against the Angels on Tuesday. He also struck out seven batters and earned the win as Colorado ultimately defeated Los Angeles by a score of 12-3.

Gomber has gone 8-5 with a 3.69 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and .208 OBA while walking 26 batters and striking out 86 this season. He's looked particularly strong as of late, going 5-0 with just eight earned runs, three walks, and 26 strikeouts over his last six starts (33 innings).
