St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado (elbow) was removed from Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Guardians with an elbow injury. (Derrick Goold on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Arenado exited during the fifth inning after being struck in the elbow by a pitch. He briefly stayed in the game before leaving with the trainers. The Cardinals star third baseman is considered day-to-day. Edmundo Sosa replaced him in the game and would see an uptick in playing time while Arenado is sidelined.
