Danny Duffy acquired by the Dodgers

by Brad Camara | Rangers Correspondent | Thu, Jul 29th 5:44pm EDT

Jeff Passan of ESPN reports that the Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired Kansas City Royals pitcher Danny Duffy for a player to be named later. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Duffy is currently on the 10-day injured list with a flexor strain but is expected to return soon. He has a no-trade clause that he's expected to wave. Duffy owns a 2.51 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 65 strikeouts across 61 innings in 2021. When activated, it's unclear if Duffy will be used as a traditional starter or in a hybrid role, making him more of an option in deep-league formats.
