Second baseman Donovan Solano went 1-for-3 with a run scored, a walk, and a strikeout as the Giants took down the Dodgers 5-0 on Thursday.

Solano reached twice on Thursday and scored a run as the Giants blanked the Dodgers. The veteran second baseman has been struggling of late, slashing just .174/.296/.217 over the last seven games so perhaps Thursday's contest will be a step in the right direction. Overall, he's hitting .264 with a .675 OPS to go along with three home runs, 21 RBI, and two stolen bases over 242 at-bats.
