LHP David Price took the loss on Thursday when he allowed four runs--three earned--on four hits with three walks and two strikeouts over 4 1/3 innings in the Dodgers' 5-0 loss to the Giants.
Price ran into some trouble in the first two innings, serving up a two-run double to Brandon Crawford in the first and an RBI single to Wilmer Flores in the second. Thairo Estrada reached base on a Chris Taylor throwing error in the fourth inning and eventually came around to score an unearned run against Price. The shaky outing now gives Price a 3.63 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 41:14 K/BB ratio over 44 2/3 innings (27 appearances, seven starts). He'll face a pretty stiff test in his next start against the Astros at home.
