Cole Irvin took the loss on Saturday against the Angels, allowing one run on five hits over 6.1 innings with six strikeouts and one walk.
Fantasy Impact:
Irvin was fantastic in this outing with the only run he allowed coming on an RBI double hit by Shohei Ohtani. The problem was the Athletics lineup gave him no help as they got shutout by Angels starter Jaime Barria and the rest of the bullpen. It was a successful start nontheless for Irvin as he lowered his ERA to 3.50 on the season.
