German Marquez excels on mound and at plate

Rockies starter German Marquez had an impressive performance against the Padres on Saturday. On the mound, he allowed just two runs, four hits, and four walks over six innings while striking out seven batters. He also played a role offensively, going 1-for-2 with a solo homer at the plate. Marquez earned the win as Colorado ultimately defeated San Diego by a score of 5-3.
