Diego Castillo blew the save for the Mariners on Saturday, allowing a two-run long ball in the 10th inning that won the game for Texas.
After tossing a 1-2-3 inning on Friday in his Seattle debut, Castillo entered his first save situation on Saturday. After the Mariners scored one run in the top half of the inning, Castillo surrended a two-run long ball to the first batter that he faced to take the loss. It was not a great first impression to say the least, but he entered the night having not allowed an earned run in each of his previous 11 appearances. He will look to bounce back next time out on the mound.
