Outfielder Mookie Betts went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, two runs scored, a walk, and a strikeout as the Dodgers blanked the D-Backs 13-0 on Sunday.
Betts was making his first start since being activated from the injured list due to a sore hip. He blasted his 15th homer of the year in the top of the ninth inning and also reached base with a single and a walk earlier in the contest. The 28-year-old star has battled injuries and inconsistency this season but he should serve as a boost to fantasy managers and the Dodgers alike down the stretch. He's slashing .272/.376/.509 with 15 home runs, 41 RBI, and seven stolen bases over 320 at-bats this year.
