Kumar Rocker officially doesn't receive contract from Mets

Mets GM Zack Scott confirmed Sunday night that the club failed to sign 2021 first-round pick, Vanderbilt RHP Kumar Rocker. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Mets were thrilled when Rocker fell to them at No. 10 overall, but apparently they didn't like what came up in his medical examinations. It's a bummer as the most famous member of this year's draft class could've been electric in New York. Instead, Rocker will return to college next season, and the Mets will receive the 11th pick in the 2022 draft as compensation.
