Bryse Wilson loses first start as a Pirate

by Connor Rooney | Brewers Correspondent | Tue, Aug 3rd 7:25am EDT

Bryse Wilson (2-4) took the loss Monday against the Brewers. He allowed one run on two hits and two walks across five innings. He did not record a strikeout.

Fantasy Impact:

Making his first start for Pittsburgh, Wilson was decent on Monday. The once heralded prospect turned in five one-run innings, but failed to strike anyone out. Overall, he has a 4.42 ERA and 1.45 WHIP in 36.2 innings, with 21 strikeouts. Assuming he sticks in the rotation, he lines up to face the Reds this weekend.
