Walker Buehler takes the loss on Tuesday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Aug 4th 11:59am EDT

RHP Walker Buehler took the loss on Tuesday when he surrendered one run on five hits with three walks and five strikeouts as the Dodgers were blanked by the Astros 3-0.

Fantasy Impact:

Buehler didn't have his best stuff on Tuesday but he was able to limit the Astros' potent offense over his six innings of work. He gave up an RBI double to Michael Brantley in the top of the third inning and that one run was enough to saddle him with the loss as the Dodgers offense couldn't get anything going. The 27-year-old hurler now owns an 11-2 record, 2.16 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and 144:34 K/BB ratio over 141 2/3 innings (22 starts). He'll look to get back in the win column in his next start against the Phillies on the road.
