Clayton Kershaw loses it in the eighth inning

by Stan Son | Dodgers Correspondent | Mon, May 4th 10:23pm EDT

Clayton Kershaw struck out the first four Brewers he faced Monday in Milwaukee. He allowed only one hit through five innings when back-to-back singles in the sixth got the Brewers on the board. The eighth inning is when it all fell apart. He gave up a home run, then a double and was replaced by Chris Hatcher, who relinquished the lead. Kershaw struck out eight and allowed five hits for three earned runs. 59-of-91 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

Kershaw is so close to being dominant but just can't seal the deal. A pitch here and a pitch there is swinging the pendulum. Once he gets it clicking, it's going to be a fun ride.
