Fantasy Impact:

Rendon has been sidelined since July 4 due to a left hamstring strain. The Angels' third baseman suffered a setback in mid-July and will undergo season-ending surgery on his hip. Rendon slashed .240/.329/.382 with six home runs, 34 RBI, and 24 runs scored across 249 plate appearances in 2021. The 31-year-old will rehab and look to be ready by Spring Training of 2022. Phil Gosselin will continue to handle third base duties while Rendon is sidelined.
