Laureano reportedly was caught with Nandrolone in his system, a performance-enhancing substance, and has been suspended 80 games by MLB. He will miss the rest of this season and some of 2022. Laureano slashed .246/.317/.443 with 14 home runs, 39 RBI, 43 runs scored, and 12 stolen bases across 88 games in 2021. Stephen Piscotty and Seth Brown will see an uptick in playing time while Laureano is out.
