Fantasy Impact:
Boyd will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo on Thursday. The southpaw is nearing 60 days on the IL, and the move is considered procedural. Boyd is on target to return to action in late August. The 30-year-old has been solid in 2020, owning a 3.44 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 56 strikeouts across 70 2/3 innings in 2021.
