Dennis Santana gives up walk-off single on Wednesday

Rangers reliever Dennis Santana surrendered a walk-off single against the Mariners in the bottom of the ninth inning on Wednesday. He struck out one batter and gave up three hits en route to earning his second loss of the season. Texas ultimately fell to Seattle by a score of 2-1.

Santana is now 1-2 with a 5.35 ERA, 1.63 WHIP, and .264 OBA through 33.2 innings of relief work his season. He has struggled with control, walking 21 batters and striking out 24. The 26-year-old has now allowed four runs on eight his over his last seven outings.
