David Price allows two runs in no-decision

by Jon Mathisen | Wed, Aug 18th 2:11am EDT

LHP David Price took a no-decision on Tuesday when he allowed two runs on three hits with one walk and three strikeouts across 4 2/3 innings in the Dodgers' 4-3 win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Price did his job on Tuesday. He didn't necessarily pitch well but he held the Pirates in check by only surrendering a pair of runs via a Bryan Reynolds double and a Jacob Stallings RBI fielder's choice. Price holds little fantasy value in his current role as he rarely goes deep enough in games to factor into the decision. He's also just not as effective as he once was so there's minimal upside here. Overall, he owns a 3.62 ERA and 1.34 WHIP with 50 strikeouts over 59 2/3 innings.
