Fantasy Impact:
Merryweather seems to be on the right track to return at some point in late August or early September. In his four appearances, Merryweather went scoreless, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out seven. He was simply lockdown for the Blue Jays, and while it seems as if teammate Jordan Romano has locked down the closer role, Merryweather could push for some save opportunities if he flashes that same prowess.
