Cavan Biggio won't be activated until he gets going offensively

Fantasy Impact:
Biggio is hitless with six strikeouts over his last 11 plate appearances in Triple-A Buffalo. Position players can be on rehab assignments for 20 days; Biggio could be optioned if he cannot turn things around. The 26-year-old has struggled mightily this season, slashing .215/.316/.350 with seven home runs, 26 RBI, and three stolen bases over 289 plate appearances. Fantasy managers in standard re-draft leagues can move from Biggio, but he remains a strong option in dynasty and OBP formats.
