Luis Castillo (7-12) earned the win Thursday against the Marlins, allowing one run on eight hits and one walk in seven innings while striking out eight.

Castillo dominated a weak Marlins lineup, scattering eight hits and keeping batters off balance. He lowered his season ERA to 4.35. In his last seven starts (42 innings), that ERA is 3.64 and he's recorded 49 strikeouts. He lines up to take on the Brewers next week.
