Matthew Boyd (elbow) 'penciled in' to start Sunday

Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said Matthew Boyd is "penciled in" to return and start for Detroit on Sunday against Toronto. (Chris McCosky on Twitter )

Boyd has been sidelined since the middle of June due to elbow discomfort. His most recent rehab stint saw him toss 4.1 scoreless innings at Triple-A Toledo. Boyd has a 3.44 ERA across 70.2 innings so far this season.
