Toronto Blue Jays infielder Cavan Biggio (elbow, neck) was diagnosed with a sprained UCL in his left elbow and is “week-to-week.” (Scott Mitchell on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Biggio has been sidelined since August 2 with neck and elbow injuries. The 26-year-old could return by early September, but it’s been a lost season for Biggio. He’s struggled most of this year, slashing .215/.316/.350 with seven home runs, 26 RBI, and three stolen bases over 289 plate appearances in 2021. Fantasy managers outside of dynasty and deep-league formats can move on from the Blue Jays infielder.
