LHP Tyler Gilbert took a no-decision on Wednesday when he surrendered two runs on three hits with three walks and four strikeouts over five innings as the D-Backs defeated the Pirates 5-2.
Fantasy Impact:
Gilbert was looking good through the first three innings on Wednesday, allowing a handful of base runners and no runs. Pittsburgh finally pushed a run across in the fourth inning with a sacrifice fly and picked up another with an RBI single in the fifth. The D-Backs would go on to take the lead after Gilbert exited the contest so he took a no-decision. He now owns a solid 2.38 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and 16:9 K/BB ratio over 22 2/3 innings (six appearances, three starts). He'll face the Padres, a team he no-hit the last time he faced them, in his next turn.
