Tyler Rogers secures 24th hold of the year
by Jon Mathisen | Giants Correspondent | Thu, Aug 26th 1:19am EDT
RHP Tyler Rogers earned a hold on Wednesday when he worked a scoreless eighth inning while striking out two batters as the Giants beat the Mets 3-2.
Fantasy Impact:
Rogers was splitting closing duties with Jake McGee at one point earlier in the season but he's become the full-time setup man over the last six weeks. He's been excellent in that role and it's still made him useful in NSVH leagues. He owns a microscopic 1.92 ERA and 1.02 WHIp over 61 innings of relief.
