Rhys Hoskins (groin) placed on 10-day IL on Thursday with groin strain

Phillies' first baseman Rhys Hoskins has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain. (Philadelphia Phillies on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

After returning from the IL on Sunday, Hoskins again finds himself on the IL after being diagnosed with a left groin strain. Hoskins played just three games, but was quite productive in those outings, going 3-for-8 with three homers. The Phillies are five games behind the Braves, and without Hoskins and his power in the lineup, a late playoff push seems all the more daunting. Brad Miller is starting in Hoskins' absence, and it looks like that should continue to be the case while Hoskins recovers. Miller is hitting just .218 with 12 homers and an OBP of .310, and as such, shouldn't garner much fantasy consideration.
