James Karinchak optioned to Triple-A

The Cleveland Indians have optioned reliever James Karinchak to Triple-A Columbus. His roster spot will go to first baseman Bobby Bradley, who was activated from the IL. (Mandy Bell on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Karinchak is 7-4 with a 4.14 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and .179 OBA through 54.1 innings this season. He has also walked 32 batters while striking out 77. The 25-year-old has struggled immensely as of late, accruing a 9.75 ERA over his last 15 starts. He gave up a three-run homer while failing to retire a batter against Boston on Friday.
