Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard has tested positive for COVID-19. He has been scratched from his scheduled rehab outing at High-A Brooklyn. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Syndergaard, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery, allowed one run through one inning of work during his last rehab outing in Brooklyn. The former All-Star last pitched in 2019, when he went 10-8 with a 4.28 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and .256 OBA.
