Mitch White takes the loss vs. Colorado

by Jon Mathisen | Giants Correspondent | Sun, Aug 29th 8:34pm EDT

RHP Mitch White took the loss on Sunday when he surrendered three runs on six hits with two walks and six strikeouts over 3 1/3 innings.

Fantasy Impact:

White was hit around by the Rockies in Sunday's loss and it started in the very first inning. C.J. Cron inflicted the most damage with a three-run bomb in the opening frame. White managed to strike out six batters over the outing but the three-run blast was enough to saddle him with the loss. He now owns a 3.49 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 41:17 K/BB ratio over 38 2/3 innings (18 appearances, three starts). He'll face the Giants on the road if he gets another crack at starting.
